With the amendment made to the Regulation on Real Estate Trade on August 31, 2023, identity and authorization verification obligations were introduced to advertisement platforms, and the Electronic Advertisement Verification System (EİDS) established by our Ministry was launched on September 15, 2024. In this context, the EİDS authorization verification application was made mandatory for rental real estate advertisements as of January 1, 2025, and the application will also be mandatory for sale real estate advertisements in the upcoming period. The technical study carried out by our Ministry to ensure that real estate businesses are informed about authorization, extension and cancellation transactions carried out via e-Government has been completed, and information e-mails have started to be sent to businesses with e-mail addresses registered in the Real Estate Trade Information System (TTBS) regarding all real estate business authorization processes to be carried out on the EİDS Real Estate Advertisement Authorization Transactions screen in e-Government (authorization, extension and cancellation transactions). In this respect, it has been made mandatory to enter an e-mail address in authorization certificate applications to be made via TTBS from now on. Businesses with an authorization certificate will be able to enter or update their e-mail by selecting the “Update E-Mail” section from the tabs under the name and surname information of the applicant on the right side of the screen. In this context, I kindly request that your members engaged in real estate trade are informed about the above-mentioned issues immediately and that they take necessary action.
