Nusaybin Chamber of Commerce and Industry was established upon the letter of the Ministry of Commerce dated 27.11.1989 and numbered 1989/467.

Thereupon, a meeting was held on 08.07.1988 and a committee was formed consisting of E.Muzaffer YUMUŞAK, Hüseyin AYDIN, Mahmut DANIŞMAN, A.Kerim DENİZ, and Nevaf YAĞIZ to carry out the establishment procedures.

The Enterprising Board, which held its first meeting on 31.05.1990, elected E.Muzaffer YUMUŞAK as its President and the procedures regarding the establishment were completed.

The Chamber Assembly was elected on 31.05.1990, the Assembly President and Vice President were elected on 01.06.1990, and the Board of Directors and Vice President elections were held on 20.06.1990 and our Chamber began its operations.
